Hi, I'm Lucy! 💕

Before Under the Moon with Lucy became a little business, it was simply me looking for something creative that made my heart happy.

I'm a wife, a mom, a Mema, and as of December 2025, a very proud Great-Mema. My family is my whole world, and they are at the heart of so much of what I do.

I'm originally from Alabama, and I will forever be a hard-core BAMA girl. ❤️🐘 And just a little warning... if Alabama is playing football, don't invite me or my hubby anywhere. Just don't. 😂 Roll Tide!

I moved to Florida in 2006, and here comes 2007 that's where my story took a beautiful turn. My husband and I met and although it was later in life, I truly believe we had some journeys of our own to take before God knew it was time for our paths to cross. Maybe we needed those experiences to become the people we were meant to be for each other. We married in 2011 and it was the best decision I've ever made.

He is my soulmate, my rock, my best friend, and my biggest supporter. He is the person who encourages me to keep chasing my dreams, even on the days I doubt myself. I truly believe God brought us together at exactly the right time.

I've always loved creating things. In 2024 and 2025, I started dabbling in sourdough and making chunky blankets after spending entirely too much time on TikTok looking for ideas and inspiration. One thing led to another, and that creative spark eventually became Under the Moon with Lucy. I'm still making sourdough and chunky blankets and those will be incorporated into my shop eventually.

Then there is my love of stationery...

I'm a stationery lover, journal lover, planner lover, pen lover... basically, if I can write in it, organize it, decorate it, or make it pretty, I probably want it! 😂

I've searched forever for a planner that I would actually use all year long. I haven't found it yet, so naturally, I'm working on creating my own. Because apparently that's what you do when you can't find exactly what you're looking for!

But Under the Moon isn't just about stationery or spa goodies or creating fun bundles.

It's about creating little moments of happiness.

I love putting together something that makes someone smile when they open their package. I love choosing the little extras, finding something unexpected, and making each order feel personal. I don't want you to feel like you simply placed an order with a shop. I want you to feel like you received something that was made with thought, care, and a whole lot of love.

And then there is this community.

Honestly, I never expected this little journey to bring so many wonderful people into my life.

The friendships I've made with other shop owners and the relationships I've built with customers have meant more to me than I could ever explain. This community has helped heal my heart in ways I didn't even realize I needed.

Every order, every comment, every share, every message, every "I can't wait for my package!" means something to me.

You are helping make a dream come true.

I still have a ways to go before I can finally kick corporate to the curb and do Under the Moon with Lucy full-time. But I'm working toward it every single day.

And when that day comes?

You'll have me full-time—creating, dreaming, packing orders, designing new goodies, laughing, probably making a mess in my shop, and loving every minute of it. 😂
